Recording and finishing run on your phone. Wi-Fi collaboration currently requires the desktop developer companion; Android pairing is not included yet. This preview does not include cloud hosting, software instruments, or an iPhone/desktop graphical app.
Start a song in a few minutes
- Download the APK on your Android phone and open it. Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser.
- Open Mxsie and choose a built-in mic or compatible USB input in Audio setup. Use headphones to keep backing tracks out of the microphone.
- Set your tempo, count-in and optional metronome. Record a take, then select which tracks you hear for the next one.
- Choose Finish song to make a new mix and master. Export a WAV to keep or share.
A few preview limits
- USB interfaces and Bluetooth routes still need physical-device qualification. The OS must expose the input and provide sufficient power.
- Bluetooth delay can vary. Timing checks help measure offsets; zero delay is not promised.
- Keep the app in the foreground while recording. Takes currently have a 30-minute limit.
- Export important work before uninstalling. Android removes private app projects when you uninstall.
- Older development APKs use a different debug signature. Do not uninstall one containing your only copy of a song just to install this preview.
